Need Network Scanner

Nothing fancy. Freeware. Netscan use to be a good one but source-forge seems to have gotten to where you can download anything from it any more. Can someone shoot me a link to a good one.

I wear a lot of hats...

"The solutions and answers provided on Experts Exchange have been extremely helpful to me over the last few years. I wear a lot of hats - Developer, Database Administrator, Help Desk, etc., so I know a lot of things but not a lot about one thing. Experts Exchange gives me answers from people who do know a lot about one thing, in a easy to use platform." -Todd S.

@Predrag Jovic I have to ask. I ran that on a network 10.0.0.1 through 10.0.0.254 and even though there are only 24 devices on this network all 254 IP addresses showed up (most with no descriptions). Why would that happen?

Something weird.... they are all alive. No dead. No unknown. How does it determine if they are alive? I can't ping the ones that really aren't there so it can't be ping....
