Downloading apps using different Apple ID

We are deploying some iPads to our sales force. I am wondering if I can use a generic Apple ID to load a few free apps to the iPad's before giving them to the sales person. Ultimately they will use their own Apple ID on the devices but I would like to have a few apps already loaded instead of instructing them to download them. Is this allowed?

"The solutions and answers provided on Experts Exchange have been extremely helpful to me over the last few years. I wear a lot of hats - Developer, Database Administrator, Help Desk, etc., so I know a lot of things but not a lot about one thing. Experts Exchange gives me answers from people who do know a lot about one thing, in a easy to use platform." -Todd S.

You can sign in as a generic ID, install Apps and then sign out and back in as a different account to install other Apps.  Not aware that Apple will get upset by this or that it will cause any problems down the line except when having to backup / restore should the need arise.

You may find it easier to get the user to sign in to the device before you hand it over and customise it for them by installing the relevant Apps you want, then you won't face any issues further down the line.
