Outlook 2013 Excel file preview in preview pane error (In citrix xenapp environment)

Hi
We have a Xenapp 6.5 farm. Users get the error "Not enough memory to run Microsoft Excel. Please close other applications and try again." when they try to preview a excel file in Outlook 2013. PDF file, word file, image file previews are ok in Outlook.

Same excel file can be successfully previewed on Outlook 2013 on a physical desktop.

I have tried starting outlook in safe mode in Citrix and still get the same error. What else could i try?

"The solutions and answers provided on Experts Exchange have been extremely helpful to me over the last few years. I wear a lot of hats - Developer, Database Administrator, Help Desk, etc., so I know a lot of things but not a lot about one thing. Experts Exchange gives me answers from people who do know a lot about one thing, in a easy to use platform." -Todd S.

Maybe the attachment is blocked. What happens if you save the file let say to the desktop and try to open it?

You could try this:
Start Excel 2013, open File -> Options -> Trust Center -> Trust Center Settings -> Protected View -> uncheck all three settings - Click OK - Restart Excel.
