Hi,

You can use below code base to throw show an alert message from code behind.  Below is sample code that I have created on my local which will show a popup alert message if I enter 1 in the textbox that I have.

 protected void btnpopup_Click(object sender, EventArgs e) {
            if(Popuptxt.Text == "1") {
                string message = "Hello this is popup alert message.";
                System.Text.StringBuilder sb = new System.Text.StringBuilder();
                sb.Append("<script type = 'text/javascript'>");
                sb.Append("window.onload=function(){");
                sb.Append("alert('");
                sb.Append(message);
                sb.Append("')};");
                sb.Append("</script>");
                ClientScript.RegisterClientScriptBlock(this.GetType(), "alert", sb.ToString());
                }
            }

Hope it helps!
