Hi,

Currently  i have 5 blade server sharing a HP SAN storage p2000.  with two LUN.  based on our requirement we decided to add an additional enclosure to the existing one, i have connected the data iSCSI cable to enclosure & need to create 2LUNS of 2TB. that should be shared by particular blade server 3 & 4.  and 1LUN will be share by All 5 Blade servers.
and that 1LUn will be configure in Failover cluster as CSV.

can any body let me know how to configure this .
Thank you

There are several generations of the HP P2000.  Not knowing which one you have, I can't give exact instructions.  In general, i f you go to www.hp.com/go/support , you can find drivers and downloads for any HP product.

I have this link for the p2000 -- you'll have to find the correct 'generation' (g1, g2, g3) and from there get to the documentation, which is easy.   There are complete guides for adding enclosures and provisioning and presenting LUNs forr all the permutations of generation, controller, etc., on the site.

Once the LUNs have been set up you need to configure your blades to connect to the new SAN.

iSCSI Initiator is the utility to do so.

There should be some security settings in the P2000 when your blades hit it that will need to be configured to allow the blade's IDs in.

Once in, map your LUNs to the necessary blades.

Make sure the shared LUN for the cluster all have the SAME LUN ID presented to the blades.
