Using a Windows 7 Pro 64Bit desktop pc and Office 2016 Home/Business 32bit. &nbsp;I have a strange problem which when I try and save a Word document it creates a 0kb file of the said document, but then keeps the save dialog box open and the filename at the top of the doument is still called document 1 (suggesting that the document hasnt been saved). &nbsp;When I close Word down I get a dialog box asking to save the main word template file. &nbsp;Once I close word down I can see the file I saved (0kb) when I try and open it, it says that the file cannot be found. &nbsp;All other programs work fine in Office, it is just Word. &nbsp;The PC has DESlock+ installed, but having spoke to them they dont know of any compatibility problems. &nbsp;<br />

Ive tried opening in safe mode, looked at disabling addons (there are none) and checked for rogue macros etc...nothing. &nbsp;Also tried a repair install and a complete re-installation...no joy. &nbsp;Very frustrating, anyone else have this problem?<br />

Word 2016 for Windows will not Save a document

Microsoft Word is a commercial document editing program that is part of the Microsoft Office suite.
