Not able to connect to external website from windows service (The remote name could not be resolved)

the said website can be connected through windows forms application. i am able to open through browser.

when i connect to internet through dongle, i can connect to the said sms gatewary ( and send sms from windows service application.

but when the same service is connected through office lan ( internet through proxy server) , i am getting the above error message.
however i am able to open through webbrowser and windows forms application

I feel it is definitely has to to do with proxy settings.  how  can i resolve this.

did you try to remove the proxy settings? Although this may be the security feature added in your Office lan.

If yes, then please speak to your administrator to resolve this, if it is a work impacting.

if i remove proxy settings, internet will not work.  i am sure  that it has to do with proxy server settings. but what exactly can ask  administrator to look into. Because, the website is opening in browser and through the same sms gateway, i can send the sms through windows forms application. only through windows service i am getting this error.
