Hello Experts,
I have 3 servers with 100 RDS User Cal Licenses per server. I would like to modify the amount of RDS User Cal's from 100 on server 3 to 40 and move 30 to server 1 and 30 server 2.
This sounds very simple but I am not sure how to do this.
Please forgive me if this is something easy.

You should have a licensing server that handles your RDS CAL management. They're not assigned to a particular server.

Lee thanks for your comment, I understand what you are saying but it is not setup that way here. Each server has its own RDS Cal licenses setup with RDS license Manager. I just want to move some of the license from one server to other.
BTW these are Volume licenses per user.
Any ideas how to move licenses around?
Also are you recommending that all the licenses be on one server?

All the licenses should be on ONE license server. You cannot transfer licenses more than once every 90 days. I've never done something like you have but check in license manager, I believe there's a way to deactivate licenses but I don't know that you can do "some" - I think it may be all or nothing.
This is the best money I have ever spent. I cannot not tell you how many times these folks have saved my bacon. I learn so much from the contributors.

I have never like putting all my Eggs into one basket, if the license server Crashes then access to all three servers would be down. I do see where I can Rebuild licenses so I will try that.
