Problem adding Mac OS X laptop to a Windows Server 2003 domain

I am getting an error message when I tried to add the only two laptops running El Capitan to my domain. I used both Directory Utility and Terminal to do this and got this error. My domain ends in .local.

"The plugin encountered an error processing request (10001)"

I have no trouble adding laptops running Yosemite or older operating systems. Hope you guys could help me with this issue.

Thanks,
Tharaka

It appears that Windows Server 2003 domains are not supported by El Capitan's Directory Utility. This is according to Apple support. If any of you have gotten El Capitan's Directory Utility to work with a Windows Server 2003 domain, please let me know how you did it.
