I wear a lot of hats...

"The solutions and answers provided on Experts Exchange have been extremely helpful to me over the last few years. I wear a lot of hats - Developer, Database Administrator, Help Desk, etc., so I know a lot of things but not a lot about one thing. Experts Exchange gives me answers from people who do know a lot about one thing, in a easy to use platform." -Todd S.

Then format it as such...

In design view,..click the "Home" Tab.

Then select the control
Then from the "text Formatting" section ,...select Blue text and the underline option...

...ooops, I see now what you really have

If this is "one" expression (that does not change with each record,...then you can use a Rich text field to do the custom formatting.

In an Access 2007 or higher db, (.accdb) create a Memo/Long Text field in a table and set the "TEXT FORMAT" property (*Not the "Format" property*) to "Rich Text.
Then when you open the table, you can highlight the web address portion, and use the formatting tools to set the custom formatting.
Then create a txtbox on your report with a controlsource like this:
Dlookup("YourMemoFiled", "YourTable")
...as again, set the "Text Format" property of this control to "Rich Text"

...There may be a simpler way to do this, ...but this has worked for me in thee past, ...so let's see what other experts may post...

Also note that if you enter a "valid" irl in your string, ...the "web" formatting (underlined an blue), ...will appear automatically...

In any event, ...here is a sample of both techniques...

You may wish to use your value in a header perhaps...
memo2
For the link to be "clickable",
-The Report must be opened in "Report View" (Not Print Preview)
-It must be a valid irl (internet address, email address, network path reference, ..etc)
-You must hold down the Ctrl key when clicking....

So I ended up doing this:
<u>https://ABC.enoah.com/Sign-In.</u>

that works but for some reason I am only getting half of it underlined and I noticed it goes to a second line so I am seeing this:
To renew, please go to https://ABC.
enoah.com/Sign-In. If you have forgotten your username or password to your user account, please contact ABC-secretariat@ABC-sociology.org

when I should be seeing:
To renew, please go to https://ABC.enoah.com/Sign-In. If you have forgotten your username or password to your user account, please contact ABC-secretariat@ABC-sociology.org

Actually,

on ID: 41078925

Even with this:
http:\\what ever.com

sometimes it did the blue and sometimes it did not.   So I had to do:
<font color=blue> what ever </font>
that worked

so I was able to work it out thanks
