Apparently the network printer is properly configured by jetdirect in the operating system and process correctly plain text files .<br />

However, files with PCL secuences takes a few minutes to be processed using option -l.<br />
<br />
&nbsp;-l = Specifies &nbsp;that the print file is already formatted for the destination and should be sent without filtering. This option is equivalent to &quot;-oraw&quot;.<br />
<br />
Printer is a laserjet HP 1606DN.<br />

 -l = Specifies  that the print file is already formatted for the destination and should be sent without filtering. This option is equivalent to "-oraw".
