I get this error when creating this export spec. What to do?

are you exporting to a Fixed width text file?
looks like you have too many fields and all of your text field length are set to 255.

change the field sizes to a more reasonable length.

...but just out or curiosity, ...can you post an example of your text file, for us to examine?

Where do i need to change that?

open the table in design view.
select the "Text" type fields and change the value in the Field Size property
