Adjust the line

Hi,
to this line
Return (From p In Me Where p.DocumentCode.Equals(documentCode, StringComparison.OrdinalIgnoreCase) AndAlso
                                        p.AnalysisValue.Equals(analysisValue, StringComparison.OrdinalIgnoreCase)).FirstOrDefault

I want to treat the substring of p.AnalysisValue starting at "." does also equal the substring of analysisValue starting at ".". How?
