Internet Explorer Maintenance Settings

Hello

We still have the above settings enabled in some of our GPOs alongside the IE10/11 preferences settings which works fine.

However i cannot edit the old IEM settings using my WIn 7,2008 or 2012 machines..  How do i do this?

thanks

When you say you can't edit them, do you mean the settings are greyed out? if so, a gpo is set for the older versions as well.  Check your  GPO and look for admx templates for those older versions.

Even when you go through the control panel(view by small icons) on the workstation, are you saying internet options is not there?  If that is so, a policy has restricted the editing of these options.

Go to your domain controller and open up group policy management, right-click then click edit the group policy that you believe is holding your policies for IE. Under USER CONFIGURATION expand PREFERENCES>Control Panel Settings, click internet settings and see if anything is in there for the older versions.

Go back to your gpo right click edit.  Computer Configuration>Policies>Administrative Templates>Windows Components>highlight Internet Explorer and start checking what is turned on and off in there
