VMWare ESXi VMTools stopping Running on Newly Converted Windows 2003 Server

Hi

I have just completed a Conversion of a Windows 2003 Std Server to VMware ESXi 5.5 Server

All is going ok and have another Windows 2003 SBS server running on that same Host server and going along ok as well

Only Problem i am having is every few days maybe a little longer sometimes, there is no real pattern i can see, but VMtools stops running on the Windows 2003 Std Server and hence network stops and can not get back in with out just powering down VM and back up again, after that all OK

The Hardware versions on the Server is Version 8 just in case that has any effect, i don't think so, only reason i have said this is because the other SBS server running on the same host has version 9 and not having an issue but i don't believe this is the problem but i stand corrected if it is.

Can someone put some light on this issue

ASKER

So just un-install through windows and then just right click on VM then Guest and install or download tools from somewhere else

I have only every used the tools via vSphere are there more updated tools somewhere else to download

Version on server at moment is 9.4.5 Build 1734305

Thanks Adam
