A user is having issue with the Lync. Lync status does not change to busy when a meeting/appointment that was scheduled in Outlook occurs.

I had closed this question but later on when I checked with user, issue is not resolved.

I have done following:
 have performed below steps:
 1.      Checked the lync settings and match.
 2.      Created new Outlook profile
 3.      Disable Lync account and re-enabled it
 4.      Recreated Lync account
 5. Click the Options button on the Lync main window. Click Personal. Select the Update my presence based on my calendar information check box.
6.logged into lync admin console and reset the user's status and then checked again
7.tried deleting from

 nothing worked.

please suggest

Have you tried these steps :

To sync your Skype for Business (Lync) and Outlook accounts

In the Skype for Business (Lync) main window, click the Options button.

In Skype for Business (Lync) - Options, click Personal.

Select the Update my presence based on my calendar information check box.

Select the Display my Out of Office information to contacts in my Friends and Family, Workgroup, and Colleagues privacy relationships check box to sync your Skype for Business (Lync) and Outlook accounts.


The Lync client users who are having trouble with the calendar may be because of calendar populated via PST or may be imported calendar items causes this kind of issue. re importedthe calendar data and check.

Presence status isn’t updated based on Exchange calendar in Lync 2013

Assume that you install the September 2013 update package for Microsoft Lync 2013 that is mentioned in update 2825630. In this situation, your calendar information and OOF information aren’t synchronized between Microsoft Exchange and Lync 2013. For example, when a meeting is scheduled in your Outlook calendar, the following issues may occur:
If the meeting cannot be joined by using Lync 2010 or Lync 2013, your presence status isn't updated in Lync 2013 when the meeting starts.
If the meeting is a Lync 2010 or Lync 2013 meeting, your presence status isn’t updated in Lync 2013 until you join the meeting manually.
To resolve this issue, install the following update:

Did you checked the client version of Lync and outlook is similar with other users?
