Intel S2600CP server board won't POST or boot

I have a server that is set up using an Intel S2600CP server system board.

Over the weekend the Server 2012 OS suddenly blue screened.

Now whenever we power the server on the initial screen appears but then the server never progresses any further in the Power On Self Test (POST).

It will simply hang for around 3 minutes and then reboot and continue the cycle of never progressing any further in the POST of bootup process.

I have reseated both CPUs and securely attached the heat sync and fans and have disconnected all hard drives and the DVD drive.

I have removed all cards from the server (RAID card, video card, USB card, sound card, etc.) and have also removed all but one stick of RAM but this issue continues to occur.

Furthermore I have unplugged all cabled from the back of the server (USB cables, network cable, USB drives, etc.) and this issue continues to occur.

The problem is that the server never gets far enough into the POST or boot process for me to go into the BIOS. And of course I can't boot off of any discs, USB drives, or hard drives.

What can I do to fix this issue?

Are there any reset buttons any where on the server system board or other methods I can use to further troubleshoot and fix this issue?

Please let me know if any further information is needed.

>>  And of course I can't boot off of any discs, USB drives, or hard drives  <<  can't you choose in the bios another boot priority, and set the bios to boot from CD ?

then you can boot from any live cd -  and post the minidmp file for analysis - it should give us more info on the cause

find it in windows\minidumps

you can use Knoppix for it : http://www.knopper.net/knoppix-mirrors/index-en.html

I guess you missed this one, unless the OP meant something else.
ok
then my suggestion is to disconnect all drives and controllers (note their location, and label them properly)
then test again

Looks like the OP has already tried this?
IT expert - why does the asker not answer ?
you can provide no options - but he can add more details
he seems to have a bad motherboard / bios or the like
if there is no odtion to recover the bios - i fear the board is lost
Knowledgeable,

Whilst I am very grateful that you have given points to me for the advice/response I gave to your original post, I am a little puzzled by way that you have allocated points to nobus also.  That might, on the surface, appear a little selfish, however if I explain, then hopefully you might understand?
I responded directly to nobus' posts in the way that I did, because it appeared as though nobus hadn't read your post properly, and was giving you suggestions (which you have applied points to) that you seemed to have already covered. (you have also given me points for my responses to nobus, indicating that you agreed with them?)
I am aware that you created another thread on EE asking for specific BIOS reset instructions, which I have just checked and it appears that a BIOS reset was indeed what was required, as you have allocated full points to the person that provided the instructions.
If there is something I've missed here, then by all means, please point that out to me, and I will re-examine your question, however, if possible, I would be grateful if you could explain your reasoning behind the points allocation on this thread.

Thankyou.

Solved the issue by removing the CMOS battery which reset the BIOS.
