Exchange server Public FOlders Emails are not being received

I send out emails from GMAIL to my personal email address and it come into my mail box.  I have a mail enabled public folder and I sent mail to the pubic folder from Gmail and it never get to the public folder.  I can send to the public folder from my mailbox with in my company but nothing will route to the public folder when being sent from outside the company.

Exchange server 2010...

Need help in trying to resolve why?

you need to set anonymous user with at least contributor access to the specific folder.

My situation has more information I think.  I currently have other public folders that are working great when I send to them directly...I even setup a new public folder and mail enabled the new public folder and no emails will ever arrive.
I very confused?

I just sent a email to a folder that has anonymous set to NONE, and the email arrived in the folder.
