456 server requests totalling 25 MB of data, it took 34 seconds to load all that in Firefox from a clean cache.
Screen shot from Firebug NET dataMany images are close to 1/2 MB each. Too big.

Maybe some of those images could be combined on sprite images to cut down on the number of server requests.

There were some Facebook requests that hung during load.

Your page is very tall. You might consider breaking it up into a few shorter pages.

None of the above are Firefox specific. I can't imagine how other browsers could load all that data from dozens of different servers any quicker than Firefox.

Not slow in Chrome? With a clean cache, it took 27.22 seconds to load the page. Not much better than 34 seconds. Visitors generally lose interest after waiting 5 seconds.

You can get a ton of performance data and suggested fixes using Chrome's Audit feature in Developer Tools. This is what the unexpanded summary looks like. Make sure you clear the page from your cache to get a real sense of what a new visitor will experience.
