In a Hybrid environment with Exchange onprem with local AD and online, which is the recommended way to create a group.<br />
We can either create a group in AD,Exchange or online but I am interested to know the MS recommended way for group creation.

Distribution group

Office 365 is a group of software plus services subscriptions that provides productivity software and related services to its subscribers.
