Best is subjective.

Veeam, Backup Assist, Acronis etc. All can backup and encrypt.
Download trials, see what fits your budget etc.

PS: I use BackupAssist as it's the cheaper option and my clients are mostly small businesses, with a few non-profits.

I already use backup assist, i was just wondering if that's the best way to go.

Again, define "best".
What are your needs? What does BackupAssist lack?

No it seems fine, i just wanted to check it was the more frequently used and most stable with the best encryption.

>>More frequently used
No, as it's a newer solution. It started as a GUI for Windows Backup.

>>Most stable
Did you experienced crashes? If not, it's the most stable. You cannot beat 100%

>>Best encryption
You have options when encrypting. It's not proprietary. This means that they all use the same encryption schemes and unless a programmer really messed things up the result is secure regardless of the backup solution.
