VBA Code for Existing Charts in Excel

If I record a macro and insert a chart and modify the chart, the macro listing will give me the code for that chart.  Is there a way to get a listing of the code for an existing chart in a worksheet?  Having the code would allow me to apply the same chart to multiple worksheets.

"The solutions and answers provided on Experts Exchange have been extremely helpful to me over the last few years. I wear a lot of hats - Developer, Database Administrator, Help Desk, etc., so I know a lot of things but not a lot about one thing. Experts Exchange gives me answers from people who do know a lot about one thing, in a easy to use platform." -Todd S.

The macro recorder can only record equivalent code for actions taken whilst recording.  It can't "look" at an object and then write code that would have produced that object.

Why not simply record your actions while you build up a chart the way you want it to look and behave, and use that code?
