Hi I have a VM that is running SBS 2011 which isn't booting correctly, it seems to load up then after 10 mins it reboots itself.<br />
<br />
I had a drive failure on the local physical server that is running the VM although this still runs find and so does 2 other VM's<br />
<br />
I have replace the failed drive and all seems ok on that side.<br />
<br />
I boot the VM and get to the login screen (at that point can browse to the server not a problem) but will then just restart.<br />
<br />
It seems to do the same in safe mode with networking but I can access the server ok from normal safe mode and this doesn't seem to restart.<br />
<br />
Don't have much knowledge of VM's etc but is there anything I might be able to do to &quot;repair&quot; the Windows install or even check why this is happening.<br />

Any help would be great.<br />

SBS 2011 VM wont boot

Small Business Server (SBS) is a line of server operating systems targeted at small businesses by bundling the operating system with a number of other Microsoft products that would normally need to be purchased or licensed separately. The most notable inclusions are Exchange, SQL Server, SharePoint and ISA/TMG (Microsoft's firewall and proxy server).

Microsoft Virtual Server was a virtualization solution that facilitated the creation of virtual machines on the Windows XP, Windows Vista and Windows Server 2003 operating systems. Virtual machines are created and managed through a web-based interface that relies on Internet Information Services (IIS) or through a Windows client application tool called VMRCplus. Features included Linux guest operating system support, Virtual Disk Precompactor, symmetric multiprocessing (SMP), x64 host operating system support, the ability to mount virtual hard drives on the host machine and additional operating systems support, including Windows Vista, and a volume shadow copy writer.
