Modify font size in widget in wordpress header

How do I modify the font size and color of the phone number in the yellow header? When I try to make any changes to the phone number (color and font size) the change is also applied to text in the footer (address, hours, phone, etc).  Not sure how to separate the two.

If you created a definition that was specific to only elements in the header, it should not affect the footer.

header.site-header .widget-wrap .textwidget {
      color: #000
      font-size: 1.5em
}

This is the text that you're looking at:
<div class="textwidget">(920) 893-1061</div>

Open in new window

You can modify it to include an inline style like this:
<div class="textwidget" ><span style="font-size:14px;color:#000000;">(920) 893-1061</span></div>

Open in new window

Tom, I added the css to the child theme and flushed the cache but it doesn't seem to be working.  Any idea what I did wrong?

Dave, this is a wordpress site.  It isn't that easy going into the code and modifying.  Oh how I miss the  good old days of html sites!
