I wear a lot of hats...

"The solutions and answers provided on Experts Exchange have been extremely helpful to me over the last few years. I wear a lot of hats - Developer, Database Administrator, Help Desk, etc., so I know a lot of things but not a lot about one thing. Experts Exchange gives me answers from people who do know a lot about one thing, in a easy to use platform." -Todd S.

Paypal is probably the best known - it's easy to integrate into your site and pretty much any e-commerce platofrm out there. How much you pay will depend on the type of account you setup. Have a look at their website for full details

In round numbers, PayPal costs about 3% - on average.  If you sell very low cost products < $10 the transaction costs will be noticeably higher.  PayPal can accept credit cards.  The fees are the same whether the client uses a credit card or a PayPal account.
