You can achieve it with deployment of main domains (Branch wise) and Sub- domains (functional departments)<br />

you can achieve the same without having sub-domains too.<br />

I am looking for a design advise on AD and for future I want to assign application licenses based on the department functional role.<br />
<br />
I have a company that has 3 branch office and head office right now the AD is designed based on branch offices. I want to redesign the AD into functional departments and also looking into the fact that branch offices will also have departments and have a new security structure designed in a similar fashion. <br />
<br />
If there are any similar designs available I would like to check.<br />
