Getting Certified in Network + and Cisco ICND1 - Suggestions

I don't have the $3,200 for the five day training that's charged by some of the companies offering the above two training classes.
What are my alternatives?   Watching YouTube videos to learn is mind-numbing after 10 minutes.
Are there any virtual training companies that have simulated labs online?
Or do I have to go into debt again for a proper live training.

"The solutions and answers provided on Experts Exchange have been extremely helpful to me over the last few years. I wear a lot of hats - Developer, Database Administrator, Help Desk, etc., so I know a lot of things but not a lot about one thing. Experts Exchange gives me answers from people who do know a lot about one thing, in a easy to use platform." -Todd S.

I can recommend you CBT nuggets. Jeremy Cioara is trainer for Cisco ICND1 and ICND2 (CCNA course) and he is a great guy and you can learn a lot from it's videos. I would also recommend that you watch CCNA for the real world course (also by Jeremy Cioara).
You have 7 days free trial to decide if you like it (and you will :) ), and basic monthly price is 99$.
You can do all examples in Cisco packet tracer and (or GNS3), or you can find some cheap Cisco switches and routers on ebay (but check IOS version on switches before buying any of those (recommended is IOS 15). I also always check noise level before I buy switches and router that will be in my home (Cisco 881 ISR router 0db noise - is my recommendation)

I agree with Predrag, CBT Nuggets is what I would recommend as well.  There are other online sources with virtual labs, but all the ones I have looked at do not come anywhere close in quality to CBT Nuggets.

Look into Webinars for Cisco products. You can get free product sometimes for attending.
