"The solutions and answers provided on Experts Exchange have been extremely helpful to me over the last few years. I wear a lot of hats - Developer, Database Administrator, Help Desk, etc., so I know a lot of things but not a lot about one thing. Experts Exchange gives me answers from people who do know a lot about one thing, in a easy to use platform." -Todd S.

distribute-list prefix fred out
Is filtering routes that are advertised to other routers by EIGRP by criteria in ip prefix-list named fred.
ip prefix-list fred seq 5 deny 10.17.35.0/24 ge 25 le 25
ip prefix-list fred seq 10 deny 10.17.36.0/24 ge 26 le 26
ip prefix-list fred seq 15 deny 0.0.0.0/0 ge 30 le 30
ip prefix-list fred seq 20 permit 0.0.0.0/0 le 32
Criteria:
ge 25 le 25 - means only that matching network with /25 subnet mask
(similarly /26 and /30)

deny 10.17.35.0/24 ge 25 le 25 - Check:Are first 24 bits equal to 10.17.35.0? and deny /25 networks to be advertised if first 24 bits match (so 10.17.35.0/25 and 10.17.35.128/25 networks will not be advertised)
deny 10.17.36.0/24 ge 26 le 26 - Check: Are first 24 bits equal to 10.17.36.0? and deny /26 networks to be advertised (10.17.36.0/26 10.17.36.64/26 10.17.36.128/26 10.17.36.192/26)
deny 0.0.0.0/0 ge 30 le 30 - will deny any routes with prefix /30 networks to be advertised
permit 0.0.0.0/0 le 32 - will permit any other networks to be advertised
