"The solutions and answers provided on Experts Exchange have been extremely helpful to me over the last few years. I wear a lot of hats - Developer, Database Administrator, Help Desk, etc., so I know a lot of things but not a lot about one thing. Experts Exchange gives me answers from people who do know a lot about one thing, in a easy to use platform." -Todd S.

That usually means that the client lost connection to the server and can't reuse the current connection anymore.
Check if SQL Server were restarted in the meanwhile.

Would you say this could be an sql drop out rather than isp drop out.
Vitor MontalvãoMSSQL Senior EngineerCommented:
Yes. For example if an application is connected to a database and the SQL Server is restarted and the application still running, this is usually the error that the application will raise up.
You can confirm if is this the case or not but checking SQL Server logs.
