In order to remote wipe the drive must be cellular enabled (I don't know of any DRIVES that are) or they have to be connected to a device that auto-runs something... To protect against malware most people have autorun disabled - so how do you kick off the program when computers are told NOT to kick off ANY programs?  Or what if a person uses Linux or MacOS or some other OS?

In my opinion you're asking the wrong question / trying to solve your problem the wrong way.  Instead you should be looking at encryption solutions - which a good one effectively protects against any possibility of recovery without the key so the data is effectively destroyed by not being accessible.

Does that mean I can install security certificate to authenticate that drive to only one computer or to the computer where private keys are exported? Any such software for mac based computer instead of windows bit locker
Sorry, don't know about that.  But you have a FAR better chance finding a solution that encrypts a USB drive than finding a solution that remotely wipes one.  IronKey is the only brand that comes to mind...
