Cannot get Outlook to recognize passwords. We are using Exchange Online

I am replacing all of my PCs with new ones. We have been using exchange online for about a year with no problems. I have installed Outlook 2010 on the new computers and cannot get them to recognize the existing passwords. I then reset one of the passwords and still I couldn't complete. I left it over night and the next morning it accepted the reset password instantly. I do not want to change the other passwords and I do not want to wait 24 hours for each machine to recognize them. I don't understand waht is happening< it is very frustrating, can someone help me with this please?

I wear a lot of hats...

"The solutions and answers provided on Experts Exchange have been extremely helpful to me over the last few years. I wear a lot of hats - Developer, Database Administrator, Help Desk, etc., so I know a lot of things but not a lot about one thing. Experts Exchange gives me answers from people who do know a lot about one thing, in a easy to use platform." -Todd S.

I should add, of course, I have not been able to set Outlook up on all the other machines,

Run the Microsoft Online readiness tool from MS365 portal.

I think your Office 2010 is missing some critical updates which requires Office 2010 to work properly with MS365.

Also check through Windows update if there is any update on the system.
