Bootstrap installation

I created a html file in VS 2013 environment that has bootstrap.  I then want to put this html file, by itself, on the web server but I'm having problem with the page's style is not showing up correctly.
I did copy over all the "Content" folder from the project that has all the style file and the image folder with all the images.  Is there something else I need to do to install Bootstrap on the web server for my page to displayed properly?

P.S.  The page looks perfect when I open the html file from the project folder.

Thank you.

Bootstrap does not get "installed" on a web server. It is simply a small collection of files you load as assets on your page.

The possible reasons your styles are not showing up:

1.)  You forgot to add the links to the assets to the html page.
2.)  You have the assets linked but the paths to the files are not correct relative to the current page. These will sow up as 404 "File not found" errors in the Javascript console of your browser.
3.) The links are there and they are correct but the assets themselves are not where they need to be on the server. Again, 404 errors.
4.) The folder where the assets live on the server is not accessible to the web page because of a permission issue.
