Windows Server 2012 R2, any role or feature instal fails

Hi Microsoft Windows expert,

Exiting environment : Windows Server 2008 R2.
I am in the process of migrating to Windows Server 2012 R2. I installed Windows Server 2012 R2 on HP DL380p G8 server. Now, when I go to add a any role or features I am getting the following error.
Failed to open runspace pool. The Server Manager WinRM plug-in might be corrupt or missing

a. disabled the firewall
b.Add "127.0.0.1" and "::1" to the IP listen list
c. winrm qc shows
winrm service is already running on this machine.
winrm is already setup for remote management on this computer

d.Granted the  “Validated Write to Service Principal Name” permission to the NETWORK SERVICE using theADSIEDIT.msc

Error logs:
Event ID 10154
The WinrRM failed to create the following SPNs:WSMAN/xxx.abc.com:WSMAN/xxx

Application and services log
Event ID 142
WSMAN Operation CreateShell failed, error code 2150858811

This is stopping my plan from moving forward. I googled but nothing seems to work.
Any thoughts and help will be highly appreciated.
Thanks,

Deorali,
Just as a test on this specific server.  Open powershell as an administrator
type in import-module ServerManager

Using the below link view Installing roles using powershell.
https://technet.microsoft.com/en-us/library/hh831809.aspx#BKMK_installwps

To view all available roles and features you can type in
Get-WindowsFeature     anything that is checked is already installed on the server
If you see a role/feature you want installed type the below command
Install-WindowsFeature –Name <feature_name>    you will add the feature name you see in the list without the <>

Tried installing a role through PowerShell and works great. Installation from GUI Server Manager is broken.

How can I fix this ?

Thanks

You may have to run an sfc /scannow to see if it repairs any windows files.  Something must be corrupted.  I'm glad you got the role installed via powershell.

running sfc /scannow completes without any error. Windows resource protection did not find integrity violation.

run this command in powershell    $psversiontable then send over the results to me

I think I found the issue. Remote Shell Access was disabled via GPO.

Remote Shell Access was disabled via GPO. Once the GPO was disabled I was able to install the role.
