MS exchange 2010 Update Rollup 11 SP3 - OWA Not rsolving externally all of a sudden ?

We have had MS Exchange 2010 in house for years and all of asudden today it  stops resolving/working externally out with the LAN. Within th eLAN it will resolve even to its external DNS name.

HAve seen a few events for Event ID 108 for OWA, but this has not lead me to any fix. Starnge thing is plenty of events saying OWA working as well!

Head scrather!

A few Updates were installed last night but nothing for Exchange.

Remote connectivity test showing a problem with Autodiscover but I dodnt recall us ever having an external autodiscover DNS entry.

HTTPS/SSL 443 passing ok as per the microsoft Remote Connectivity tool, also certifacte is ok also for another year.

Any assistance appreciated.

Thanks.

Could you please let us know what do you get when you do

nslookup owa.yourdomain.com

Do you have ping enabled for OWA? Are you able to ping it.

Hello,

Many thanks for your response, we have now resolved the problem, which was related to update router firmware and an overriding of port 443 for a particular service and would therfore not facilitate any other services/connections coming from that port.

Thanks.
