customize simple social icons

I am able to set the social icons size and color but for some reason, after I click save, flush the cache and click refresh the change does not happen.  Any idea what the problem may be?  I am using Genesis Outreach Pro.  I contacted StudioPress and they were not helpful.

The icons are a widget that are in the footer.

You have an email and a Facebook icon at the bottom right.  Is there supposed to be more there?

I just looked at the demo page for that theme and those are the 'social icons' in the bottom right corner.  ??  I'd make them bigger.

Your screen shot shows a selection for 'icon size'.  That should be it.

Yeah that is what I thought but I can change that puppy to 100 and it doesnt' make any impact on icon size. The colors do modify but not the size.  Kinda funky.  I ended up tossing this plugin and using another.  Got tired of fighting with it.
