Dynamics AX Purchase UOM Problem
Hello - we use AX 2012 and have a new item that is not allowing the user to change the "Purch ID" under the Default Order Settings in Manage Inventory of the item to the "THOU" unit, which is a valid UOM in the system. There are other items in the system where this is able to be done, so there is something about this new item that is preventing it. What I'll do is attach 2 screen shots - 1 for a normal item that works, and another for the new item in question. Thanks for your help

Hello Damon. I'm not as fluent in AX yet, so can you help me find where the base would be? I did check to see if there was an ""intra-class conversion for both items, and neither one has a conversion rule unique to those specific item codes.

I believe I found it. looks like Purchase is EA and Sell is THOU. see screen shot

I changed it and it now works. that was simple. thanks for leading me there!
yes that's it, but its mainly Purchase and stock are inline or have conversions i.e
a box = 10 x Each etc
a box = 10 x Each etc
great :)
