Not able to mount NFS share from Ubuntu to EMC celerra

Dear Experts,

I have a new Ubuntu server that needs to mount from a Linux EMC Celerra installation.

In the old server I see it has the path in the fstab file.

* I copy that into the new server

* I enter the ip address in the EMC device of the new server to allow to access it

I still cannot figure a way to get what I need mounted in the new server as it is in the old server.

For  your help thanks

I wear a lot of hats - Developer, Database Administrator, Help Desk, etc., so I know a lot of things but not a lot about one thing. Experts Exchange gives me answers from people who do know a lot about one thing, in a easy to use platform." -Todd S.

Please post the following:

1. ip address and /etc/exports from NFS server
2. ip address and /etc/fstab from client
3. Exact error message and commands when you try to mount it

The server has to be told the address of the new client in /etc/exports. Otherwise it will not allow a mount.
