Cannot import .CSV file into Outlook 2013 - "Next" button remains gray
I've prepared a simple single-column of email addresses in Excel 2013 with the heading "EMAIL". I selected the heading and all the addresses in the column and named the range EMAIL. I choose Save As and select Windows CSV file format.
In Outlook 2013, I choose the Open & Export option and make my way through the import process for .CSV files. Near the last step, when I should have the option to map fields, the map fields option is gray and the Next button is gray. I cannot proceed with the import.
Does anyone know what is wrong in this situation?

I'm at a loss. What are you trying to import? a list of email addresses? to what end?

I have a list of email addresses in Excel that I'm trying to import into a contacts folder in Outlook. I need a distribution list in Outlook, but the addresses are in Excel.

Fantastic! All that export/import trouble wasn't necessary. I do wish I understood why I was unable to complete the import process in Outlook.

Have you tried it without a header? it might recognize the word "email" as a wrong format (as in not "*@*.*"

Great solution. Much faster than export/import approach - assuming export/import would work.
