"The solutions and answers provided on Experts Exchange have been extremely helpful to me over the last few years. I wear a lot of hats - Developer, Database Administrator, Help Desk, etc., so I know a lot of things but not a lot about one thing. Experts Exchange gives me answers from people who do know a lot about one thing, in a easy to use platform." -Todd S.

Please see my EE Articles, step by step tutorials with screenshots, but please note the system requirements to use these tools, not all OS are supported, especially older legacy non-supported OS.

What if I want to convert a workstation with windows 7 OEM operating system. Can I still migrate it using P2V?

Most of the windows install on the desktops are OEM and not volume and I am looking for a solution to move them to a virtual HYPER-V environment.
