Cleanup of Past items in Calendar

We have a public room calendar within exchange that we are needing to clean up 8 years of data on because we are moving it to a program called Code Two. We don't want to move these items, but we want to move the most current 3 years of data.

We are running SBS 2003 R2.

Is there a simple way of cleaning up these past years of appointments without having to go day to day and deleting them manually?

"The solutions and answers provided on Experts Exchange have been extremely helpful to me over the last few years. I wear a lot of hats - Developer, Database Administrator, Help Desk, etc., so I know a lot of things but not a lot about one thing. Experts Exchange gives me answers from people who do know a lot about one thing, in a easy to use platform." -Todd S.

In this scenario you can use the Search-mailbox cmdlet to search and delete calendar content. See the link below for details.

Hi Warsawtech,
The easiest way is to change the view settings of the calendar to a list/event view. This will give you a table of all calendar items that you can now select and move to another location.

Another option is to export the calendar items to a csv file. That will allow you to have it all in a common format to import into another program
