We have a few workstations that connect to the server on remote site through RDP to use an accounting program.
What I have noticed is the local printers show up as redirected, but when you print to it nothing happens, no error and no printing.
Event viewer on remote server:
The document Print Document, owned by administrator, failed to print on printer KONICA MINOLTA 363Series - ***(redirected 2). Try to print the document again, or restart the print spooler.
Data type: RAW. Size of the spool file in bytes: 42723. Number of bytes printed: 0. Total number of pages in the document: 1. Number of pages printed: 0. Client computer: \\*Servername*. Win32 error code returned by the print processor: 5. Access is denied.
What we do now is to print to PDF and save the file on the redirected C-drive. In the past I have used printing through RDP and it worked fine with no extra configuration.
Is there any way to make this work as it will be more convenient.
