VMWARE Esxi freezes.

Yes, this is called a PSOD, Purple Screen of Death, often caused by bad hardware, bad driver, not compatible server, or a Bug with the OS.

As you are using a HP Server, check your hardware is on the HCL, check hardware for failure, fans, cpu, storage controllers, network interfaces.

check your firmware is update to date, from the HP Firmware DVD, and also update your version ogf ESXi 5.5, that version is about 2 years old, it's the first version of ESXi 5.5 GA, released in Sept 2013.

There have been many updates since, and the latest is October 2015.

Does it only occur, with a specific VM ?
