"The solutions and answers provided on Experts Exchange have been extremely helpful to me over the last few years. I wear a lot of hats - Developer, Database Administrator, Help Desk, etc., so I know a lot of things but not a lot about one thing. Experts Exchange gives me answers from people who do know a lot about one thing, in a easy to use platform." -Todd S.

Yep. Pretty straight forward really.

Setup a watchguard (or two if you are clustering them) and connect their WAN to an existing network. assign the WAN a valid IP via DHCP or static and the watchguard will assume it is o the perimeter of your network.

you can then do whatever testing you want using devices on the LAN side of the watchguards without worrying it will affect any of your live systems.

Sorry I phrased this wrong. I'm looking for a virtual test environment. I don't have the physical device.
Ah, in that case it's a little trickier. you can get a virtual appliance from Watchguard (see link below)

Same setup but you are just assigning vNICs instead of real ones. As long as you separate the WAN & LAN ends of the Watchguard's links you can use it in your own environment safely.
