Console not working in SBS 2011 Standard
New Client: Went into the Console to troubleshoot Redirected folder Errors from Error Log
Only to find that the Console does not work I get the Error:
C:\program files\windows Small Business Server\Bin\console.exe
The Volume for a file has been externally altered so that the opened file is no longer valid.
I browse to that path and everything is there
How can I fix this?

all of the research I have done on this Issue points to the Probalility that the Previous admin somehow attemented to repair it by copying the \bin directory from another computer.
If this is the fact: How can I re-install the "Windows SBS Console"?

Does it start when you run console.exe /safe?

Repair Worked once I received the CD from Dell
Its usually caused by a 3rd party drive that sits low on the OS and filters traffic to/from the device.
have you installed any encryption or disk tools that may have inserted a driver somewhere deep down?
