Office 365 vs Office 2013

Have a small office of 10 users.   Does Office 365 operate exactly like Office 2013, except for the fact you are renting the software as opposed to buying?

"The solutions and answers provided on Experts Exchange have been extremely helpful to me over the last few years. I wear a lot of hats - Developer, Database Administrator, Help Desk, etc., so I know a lot of things but not a lot about one thing. Experts Exchange gives me answers from people who do know a lot about one thing, in a easy to use platform." -Todd S.

Yes. Office 365 is a subscription, and Office 2013 is a one-time purchase. Office 365 gives you additional features, like OneDrive storage, you can install it on multiple machines, and you can add other services to it, like email. Managing licenses is also MUCH simpler with Office 365.
