Moving to another hosting by ftp

I did create my ftp account. And as always using internet to find solutions gets me nowhere. So i will ask for step by step guidance to move my backup file from one hosting provider to another? And then on the end what must i do to make my blog page to run from another hosting?

I have:
1. ftp account
2. backup

What else do i need?
And then what to do?

(if i need also something like Filezila, ... where to download it then?)

If you are moving your website from on hosting to another, there are few things that must be done.

1. Back up your database
2. Back up your content

Download FileZilla
1. Copy your content to ftp
2. Restore your database
3.Update your config file
4. Update DNS in your domain name

I have made and FTP account in eHost cPanel
and i have a link to backup file. But here i do not want to make mistakes, can you give me instructions here pleas?

There is a tutorial somewhere about how to do this. The 'Wordpress' people here know where it is. You should probably wait for them because I don't know where it is.

Hello

I have now my buckup on, but i am confused, becuse this cPanel is curently for www.aaaaaaa.com web page, which i did create on aaaaa hosting provider while making my acount there. But i want to move www.bbbbbbb.com on aaaaaa hosting provider.

So do i have to click on " +host a new site " ? To create www.bbbb.com cPanel And then to click " i alreday have a domain " ?
And then to upload backup there. ?

Will i not then compromise my now working web page on another hosting server?

I am waiting to get answer from my server, why i can not access to access to phpMyAdmin in my cPanel.
