ASP.net VB.net Sort GridView column without re-binding data

Hi

I use the following code to bind data to a GridView in my ASP.net project.
I want the user to sort by any column. Is there a way to do this without having to run
the code again and bind data with a Where clause

    Sub oLoad_Grid(ByVal oSQL As String, ByVal oGridView As GridView)

        Try
            Dim cs As String = ConfigurationManager.ConnectionStrings("PSQL").ConnectionString

            Dim cn As New OleDbConnection(cs)
            Dim cmd As New OleDbCommand(oSQL, cn)
            cn.Open()
            Using reader As OleDbDataReader = cmd.ExecuteReader(CommandBehavior.CloseConnection)
                oGridView.DataSource = reader
                oGridView.DataBind()
            End Using

        Catch ex As Exception
            Response.Write(ex.Message & "acd2")
        End Try
    End Sub

You can use a SQLDataSource along with the GridView, and simply enable Sorting and Paging features for your GridView.

You can check out MSDN - GridView Sorting & Paging Example.
