Terminal Server Licencing Question (Microsoft Windows Server 2012 Remote Desktop Services)

I am looking for Terminal Server Licencing and see that they are available in single device licencing at around the £135 mark.

Does this mean if I purchase 3 then my terminal server will have 5 available connections?

2 x Standard Connections Built In
3 x Additional Connections

ALSO:- I will have 1 x Licence Server, 2 Terminal Servers and there will probably only be 5 users connecting to these at anyone time.   Which Licence should I go for Per User or Per Device?
Sorry guys I am dyslexic and find it hard to read technical white papers.

Thanks for your advise in advance.

No, there are two ways of accessing Terminal Services:  Full terminal services or remote administration.  If you enable RDS services then you need a CAL for every connection.

Terminal Services licensing used to be concurrent but not anymore, they are named user or device CALs.  You should purchase user CALs if you have one user who uses multiple devices to connect.  You should purchase device CALs if you have multiple users sharing the same computer.  Run the scenario and purchase the one that costs you the least.
