Is there a way to use System.SQLite.data in an Ubuntu Linux environment running Monodevelop or DNX/DNU?

Is there a way to use System.SQLite.data in an Ubuntu Linux environment running Monodevelop or DNX/DNU? I am encountering the C# runtime exception "Unable to load SQLIte.Interop.dll" even though I see the DLL in System.IO.Directory.GetCurrentDirectory().
Please tell me how to correct this problem, Thank you.

I wear a lot of hats - Developer, Database Administrator, Help Desk, etc., so I know a lot of things but not a lot about one thing. Experts Exchange gives me answers from people who do know a lot about one thing, in a easy to use platform." -Todd S.

Hi Frank,  with the work that I done so far on Mono, I do not think it is possible to use  the system.sqlite.data, instead we have to use mono.data.sqlite, please see screenshot below.
