google GCM

I setup GSM on an Android app, got the server API and sender ID. I also have the project ID and project number. No matter what I use in PHP to send the push I get a mismatch error.

{"multicast_id":9221399090130220077,"success":0,"failure":1,"canonical_ids":0,"results":[{"error":"MismatchSenderId"}]}

If somebody has a recent tutorial for setting up and enabling GSM and using PHP to send a push to the registrationID of the device that would be great. I feel I am missing a step somewhere.

Can you try to remove the Android application from your phone, recompile it, recreate the application and re-install it to Android?

Also check the referrers in the google API console:  "Mismatched Sender A registration ID is tied to a certain group of senders. When an application registers for GCM usage, it must specify which senders are allowed to send messages. Make sure you're using one of those when trying to send messages to the device. If you switch to a different sender, the existing registration IDs won't work. Happens when error code is MismatchSenderId."

I am getting "unauthorized" now when I try. I have the proper sender ID (project number) as the identifier. I white-listed my IP but still having the same issue. I opened a ticket with google as their error does not direct me to a specific issue. Waiting to hear back.

I will try to remove the APK and re-add it. If that does not work then I will generate a new APK, upload to google play and try it again.

Google confirms the API key did not match what was in the app. I created a brand new app and is worked! I am going to re-compile the APK tonight and that should resolve my other app.
